How was everyone's Christmas?! Very merry and lovely, I hope. It was 74 degrees here!! Crazy, right?! Like, it's December, but it is the South (lol). Now that Christmas has passed, the year is practically over, and hopefully you're ready to bring in the New Year with a bang! You've set your goals, now what?! Honestly, you should've already started working on those, but it's ok! You can always arrive late to the party. :)

Today, I'm sharing another outfit post. I found this lovely mock/turtle neck at H&M. It gives me full 70s vibe with the colors, and when I wear my hoops and rock my fro, I feel super groovy (lol). It's actually longer than you'd think; I just tucked it inside my jeans. I paired this look with some comfy flats and a crossbody bag.

THE CAMEL COAT

The camel coat is another closet staple everyone should have in their wardrobe. Whether it's long or short, it will spruce up any Fall/Winter outfit.

You guys know I love my basic pieces and stripes. This was the perfect combination of my style philosophy. I found this wool-blend Nine West coat at the thrift store, and it was only $25!! My turtleneck and pants are both from H&M, and I paired it with my Calvin Klein pumps. I added a pop of color with my French Connection handbag and a lippie from ColourPop.

FALL, CASUALLY

Hey! I hope you've all been thinking of things you want to accomplish next year, because 2016 is almost over. Have you ever heard of vision boards?? No? It's basically a collage of photos and words, that will help you visually see the goals you want to reach by the end of said year. I've actually never created one before, but after seeing how it worked in favor for my friends, I've decided to create one for 2017. If anyone's interested in a Vision Board party, sign me up!! (lol)

As you all know, I like to stay as casual, and comfortable, as possible. Hence why you will always, or at least 8 times out of 10, catch me wearing jeans, and guess what?! I purchased this t-shirt from the men's section at Walmart!! It's the most comfy tee I own; probably because it's so big, but I added a little chicness by tying a knot. I paired it with this super warm and comfy cardigan and a pair of my favorite pumps.

BACK TO BASICS

The year is almost over. Can you believe it?! I hope you all reached your goals for this year. If not all, then most, and if you didn't reach them, add them to your list next year! :) I'm prepping for some cool things in 2017, and I'm really excited. However, 2016 isn't over just yet. Christmas is around the corner, which means a lot of Holiday shopping.

I stopped by Ponce City Market, here in Atlanta, for the first time; it's such a cool place!! Great food, great shopping and a great place to chill and relax. I wore this basic get up, which is practically my uniform. I love a basic white button up and skinny jeans. Pair it with the perfect heel for a little height and add your favorite accessory.

BUSINESS CASUAL

Hey! How many times do you look for something that's comfortable, yet appropriate for work? This is me, everyday. Although I like to jazz it up every so often, I still like to be comfortable, because for some of us, we're sitting down for majority of the day. 

Last week while I was shopping around, I found these really cute joggers at Forever 21. The material SCREAMED comfort, so I had to buy them. Plus, they were only $8, which I later found out were on sale (lol), so I got these babies for a smooth $5. I cuffed the bottom of the joggers, added my favorite pair of black sandals and wore this super comfy blue sweater. Of course, however, as the temperature continues to drop, a coat, scarf and a different pair of shoes would be worn.

SWEATER WEATHER

 Hi guys!! Although the weather here in Atlanta is still pushing 80 degrees, it's technically sweater weather  season (lol), which, by the way, is my favorite time of the year.  I love when I can just put on a cozy top, yet still be fashionable and appropriate for any setting.

One of my favorite sweaters, so far, is this cutesy from H&M. It's really affordable, comfy and pink! I paired it with some distressed jeans and nude pumps, but you can totally rock it with a skirt, dress pants..the options are endless!!

Hi, friends! I thought I'd give you guys an update on what's been happening as of late. I sometimes share updates over on my Snapchat, but not everyone follows me there, so I'm giving everyone a chance to know what's up (lol).

Well...I feel like I've been working like crazy, but not really. I know that doesn't make any sense, but  I have a full-time job and......

I'VE BEEN HOUSE HUNTING!!!

Yes, I'm searching for my very first home!! I'm so excited and extremely nervous. Not to mention, this process is more stressful than I thought it would be; I've found myself constantly looking at listings online and at listings my agent's sending me, as well as viewing the homes in person, talking to lenders....*sigh* it's never ending (lol). I don't want to move too quickly and make a decision I'll regret next year, you know? Because I won't be leasing. This is the REAL DEAL, so I have to be sure. :)

I'm still working on the YouTube channel. No videos up just yet, but things are shaking and moving. If you guys have anything you'd like to see, share in the comments below!!

COVETED THINGS: LOAFERS

I've been obsessing over loafers since they came back on the scene....actually....I don't think loafers have ever left the scene, BUT they're definitely extremely popular right now. I've had a pair, or two, at a younger age, but I, of course, didn't know they were a 'thing' and may have thrown them in the trash as a result (lol). Well, I want a new pair now.

There are so many styled loafers. From the classic loafer all the way to the mule loafer. It's insane the amount of options there are to choose from, which is why I still haven't purchased a pair. I believe everyone needs a classic black loafer, however those are even hard to choose. The comfort level, the shape and the price all play a major role. I'd recommend browsing the web first, before impulse buying. Usually, you have more options online AND there are more coupons and discounts. So today, I'm sharing a few that I've been eyeing from inexpensive to luxury.

CLOSET STAPLES

Hey guys! 

Yesterday, I made a trip to the eye doctor because...well...I haven't been in 3 years (lol), but my eyes are in good standing, no damage has been done AND I have new contacts *cheers*!! Today, I'm talking about closet staples. You know, the items you can mix and match with practically anything. The white button down, and/or white tee, is probably the most versatile piece you will ever own. It's great for work, church, school, night out on the town, and so much more. Then, you have your basic black sandal that can easily elevate a casual look and looks chic when paired with a lovely dress. One of my favorite styled bags is the cross body. Small enough to not be in the way, but big enough to carry your essentials. Not to mention, you're completely hands free when carrying this style. I topped this look off with one of my favorite pair of distressed skinnies. I typically go for a more comfortable denim. Not necessarily a jegging, but definitely a stretch-like material.

I used to be a statement jewelry girl. As my personal style grows, I realize simple and delicate jewelry will suffice. Of course if the attire calls for it, I'll wear a statement necklace. However, in most cases, I'm not wearing anything where it's necessary.

STRIPES II

Hi friends!! I hope to find you all in great health. I've been working really hard on my YouTube channel, so hopefully, I'll have my first video up sometime this month!! I'm so excited!! Speaking of excitement, I've clearly been digging wearing stripes as of late, and I feel great about it (lol). Such a comfy and relaxed look with boyfriend jeans and this flowy top from H&M. I paired it with some pumps just to spice it up a bit, and the slouchy crossbody, which actually came inside of a tote, adds a little flavor, too.
